People buy accessories for all kinds of things. When most people hear "props," they think of things like clothes and phones. But, a search on SEMRush returns 32,000 search terms with the words "props" in them for items you may not even have known.
The one that caught my eye was "slatwall garage accessories" – what is a slatwall? It turns out that these are systems for hanging objects on walls in garages, offices and other open spaces.
A subsequent quick search shows me that "slatwalls" has a decent traffic volume for such a niche item, the CPCs are quite high and the SERPs for the term are totally feasible. For me, this would be worthy to go through the complete niche search test.
It is possible that a site aimed at the garage organization be in order. And I bet there are tons of other organizational systems in addition to slatwalls that could help people accomplish the task. Keep the domain wide and you can expand in other areas of the hosting organization if the site is doing well.
This is an idea generated from what I saw in the first page of results for a term that returned 32,000 results. Dig deep and you can find some real gems.
Find a magazine
There are tons of niche magazines out there. If they print a magazine for a niche, there is probably a monetizable audience around that niche.
You can visit a site like Magazines.com and browse the thousands of magazines that they offer. options for. I had certainly never heard of "filming" before much less knew that there was a magazine dedicated to it (with a bit of research volume, agreement with CPCs and not a lot of competition)
This can take a lot of time depending on the organization of the network, but you can often find unique markets while looking through the different traders who run affiliate programs for niches that you would not even have known.
For example, I had no idea that buying lobsters online was a "thing" until I started seeing a ton of affiliate programs popping up – How about lobster retailers?

Not all niche research ideas are free. In a professional market research, you will often find much more detailed information than you can sometimes gather online via reports such as The 2012-2013 Recreation Markets Research Handbook and the State of the Art. 39: Industry: Hobby, Toy and Game Shops in the United States – Whatever the niche, there is probably a market research report that tells you exactly what consumers are spending (and how much) .
