Pagez Will Make You Rethink Your Facebook Marketing Strategy

On July 14, I started recruiting beta testers for a new website that I co-founded with my friend Danny.

Over the past 68 days, Pagez added 1,300 new users who have posted 5,000 posts that generated a total of 12,500,000 page views.

In this article, I will explain what Pagez was, how I came up with the idea, how we proceeded to our launch of the beta and what we planned for the future.

Pagez is a "game changer" for Facebook marketing and I'm very happy to tell you about it.

Snapshots, the Facebook and Pagez

audience network

The simplest way to describe Pagez is to call it an article publication and a monetization platform . The best way to explain how this works is to explain how I got the idea.

In June, I started to monetize my Facebook fan page Always It Sunny in Philadelphia by posting articles on my blog ItsAlways.com as Instant Articles ] then using the Facebook Audience Network to inject Facebook ads into my instant articles.

I had the ItsAlways blog for years and I earned more money in June than the last two years combined.

It quickly became apparent that there were positive and negative aspects to my new Instant Article Strategy + Facebook Audience Network.

Positives

The revenue generated by Instant Articles and the Facebook Audience network far exceeds anything I've been able to generate by testing tons of other monetization strategies.
Facebook LOVED Snapshots and I immediately noticed that I was getting more page views and reaching link posts on my Facebook page for my snapshots.

Negatives

Setting up your blog for instant articles is a pain.
You must be approved to use instant articles once you have finally configured everything.
You must also be allowed to show ads in your instant articles via the Facebook audience network.
I had a lot of trouble preventing my blog from crashing when my articles started to become viral.

The positives far outweigh the negatives, so I immediately started thinking about how I could resize my efforts and increase my income with Instant Articles.

I considered a lot of options, but the best option seemed to be to build a platform where I could easily create an instant article without having to be preoccupied with any of the negatives that I'm having. I mentioned above. I knew it was possible and now it was just a construction matter.

I presented my idea to my friend and fellow programmer, Danny. He agreed that there was a lot of potential and that we needed to work.

<p> I had bought the Pagez.com domain for $ 2,500 on Flippa last year, so we decided to use that for our platform. </p>
<p> We knew that we needed to solve problem # 4 by creating Pagez on a scalable server infrastructure and decided to use <a href= DigitalOcean . This would allow us to easily increase our resources with a minimum of downtime as Pagez has begun to receive more and more traffic.

We could solve # 1-3 negative problems quite easily once we would have had our platform far enough so that we could create articles and automatically convert them into instant articles.

In the space of a few weeks of development, Danny and I had a pretty viable minimum functional product (MVP) ready to work.

We submitted everything that we needed approval to Facebook and in a few days we were allowed to post snapshots and to serve ads via the Facebook audience network.

Pagez Beta

The launch of the beta of Pagez started with a single post in my Facebook group for my product FPTraffic .

<p> The comments we received in the days following the release of the beta version of our beta users were fantastic! We had users who were making hundreds of dollars a day in no time. </p>
<p> A user sent me a message and told me that his Facebook page was completely stagnant before he started creating and sharing Pagez articles and now he was earning a few hundred dollars a day. </p>
<p> As the beta version of Pagez continued, we continued to make improvements to our platform and fix bugs. We started making weekly payments immediately to our users and, as the weeks went by, payments became more and more important. Here is a graph that I did and posted in the <a href= Pagez Facebook Group after sending payments in the afternoon.

<p> We have made progress in developing our platform in just two months of life. </p>
<p> We have recently … </p>
<p> We have a long todo and we will continue to improve Pagez so that our users can earn more money. </p>
<p> If you are confused by our strategy, we have an article that explains <a href= how you can make money with Pagez .

If you have a kind of audience on Facebook (Facebook Page or Group), I highly recommend to try Pagez .

If you have any questions, please let me know . I will be happy to help you!
